Outpatient Services
Anxiety Disorders affect nearly 31% of the population (source: NIMH). It is estimated that 19% of adults had an anxiety disorder in the past year. Anxiety also affects children and adolescents, with a prevalence of 31.9%, and of those, about 8% showed severe impairment. It is one of the most common mental health disorders, but luckily very treatable.
Our outpatient services are delivered in the clinic, home, school, or community, and are scheduled as 60-min sessions. Treatment begins with a diagnostic intake session to gather information on your current symptoms and to determine the best treatment intervention. All our clinicians hold advanced degrees and specialized training in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, specifically Exposure Therapy with Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Specialized certifications include Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to treat oppositional behaviors and PCIT-SM to treat selective mutism. Additional services include psychoeducational testing by a board certified school neuropsychologist to determine school accommodations or standardized testing (ACT, SAT, GRE) accommodations.
